Peace & Love
Domestic Violence awareness and support
We provide a safe, controlled environment for teens and adults to express their anger and relieve stress. The facility we utilize is a Rage Room.
Rage rooms are designed to help people:
-
Release pent-up emotions: People can smash objects like glassware, electronics, and furniture while wearing protective gear.
-
Gain a sense of control: People can scream, kick, punch, and hit items to relieve stress.
-
Have a healthy outlet: Rage rooms are intended to be a healthier alternative to screaming at others or punching walls.
-
Have a judgment-free space: People can leave their toxicity behind and return to the world relaxed.
-
We provide individual and group sessions after the Rage Room to continue to help the teens and young adults manage and cope with their mental health.

My daughter Tahjai Ward-Frazier was hospitalized on June 24, 2012 because they discovered she had a tumor the size of a golf ball. On June 26, 2012 my daughter had brain surgery to remove the tumor. My daughter had to learn how to do everything all over again. She had completed her freshman year at Bennett College but wasn’t able to go back in the fall. Tahjai had 5 sessions of Occupational, Speech and Physical Therapy so by fall of 2013 she entered Prince George’s county community college on a part time bases. She later graduated from Bowie’s State University in May 2020.
As Tahjai shared her story she discovered that many others had suffered from TBIs from car accidents, sports, work or because of health conditions. This was the birth of our Maryland Go Gray in May walk that started May 23. 2021. The goal is to make sure people know that having a headache every day isn’t normal and to not self medicate but bring those issues to a doctor to help save their life or a family member life.
Together, we can make a difference!
